Valbona is a single mother. Four years ago her husband left her and their daughter Vjosa who is in the 6th grade.
After the divorce, Valbona went to live with her parents. She and Vjosa lived there for two years and then moved to Malisheve where the local government provided an apartment for them. They also receive 100 Euros of social assistance each month to cover food and other expenses. This amount, however, doesn’t come close to covering the essential needs of the family.
Valbona’s daughter, Vjosa is a sweet and very quiet girl. She is an excellent student and is active in the children’s ministry at Pastor Urim’s church. She also attends the church English course and is showing great progress. She is thriving academically and spiritually, and sponsorship would be a great blessing for them. Vjosa also misses her father very much.
