Year-End Update:
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil. 1:6
This promise in Philippians 1:6 is something I have often thought of. Many years ago God began a “good work” in our personal lives and in the ministry of Mercy Projects. And because He promises to complete that work, that gives us peace and confidence in the midst of turmoil.
Over 40 years ago my wife Paula agreed to marry me. We were scheduled to leave to the mission field about a month later. Close family friends in California, Harry & Kathy Crusberg, attended our wedding that day and also committed to support us as missionaries. The Crusbergs have supported us monthly for almost 40 years!
Sadly, due to Covid-19, Harry recently went home to be with the Lord. We can say with confidence, however, that Christ has completed the good work that He began in our dear friend. Our hearts go out to the family, and we are reminded of how privileged we are to be supported by so many faithful friends like Harry and Kathy. Thank you for your ongoing partnership with us to share the gospel with the poor and vulnerable in Eastern Europe.
Good News at Our Year End

Today we have good news! Our Christmas project of providing 500 presents, one day camp events for at-risk teens, firewood for widows, and refugee aid in Armenia has been fulfilled. We hope to do more; however, our commitments have been met. Thank you so much!
The dairy farm project to provide milk and jobs in Armenia is almost complete. The higher startup cost together with additional feed means that at this time we are about $23,000 short of the goal.
Please pray with us about this. This is an exciting project both because jobs will be created and the proceeds from the farm will go to support our future summer camps for Armenian kids.
We hope to complete this project by year-end. Thanks again for your trust this year. We can all be confident that He will complete the good work that He has begun.
