Impacting Armenia and the Caucasus

April 2026 – From Jeff – I just got back from Armenia, and I am very encouraged. The MP farm is hosting teams from around the Caucasus region. I will share more in this newsletter about the team from Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe. We are thankful to be a resource in this region of the world to share the gospel.

At the same time, our dairy cows have faced challenges. After hoof and mouth disease invaded the region, our farm, like many others, was not spared. As a result, milk production has declined, and some cows must be disposed of. Dairy farming remains a tough business.

We ask for your prayers specifically for the health of our remaining cows and wisdom as we make difficult decisions.

A Family Living In A Metal Container

Cristina is a young mother of six daughters. They live in a metal container with an additional brick wall built on the outside. After the birth of their sixth child, the father left for Moscow, Russia, to find work. For a while, the money he sent back was a blessing. It supplemented the small assistance provided by the government.

However, his support checks dwindled and eventually stopped. Cristina and the girls began to go hungry. The dad stopped communicating with them altogether. Mom looked for cleaning jobs,

any thing to help them get by. Today, they receive $100 a month in welfare support, but it is not nearly enough. Cristina works odd jobs, and her oldest 14-year-old daughter takes care of the kids. Amazingly, they live in a field just down the road from our farm. We didn’t know they were even there.

And Then The Team Arrived

The team from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Tbilisi, Georgia, came to the farm for a weekend outreach. David, our farm director, contacted the local church. Pastor Garan’s wife, Armina, was excited to take the team to visit local needy families. One of those families was Cristina and her kids. The team gathered after breakfast for a time of prayer, then loaded up the minibus with food packets to deliver to Cristina and other families.

As we gather more information, we hope to provide monthly sponsorship to Cristina and her girls.

The Family Was Invisible To Us

David shares: “As our van snaked slowly through the rut-filled, muddy road into a field filled with rusty shipping containers, I thought about why we are here in Armenia. Stray dogs ran beside us, barking excitedly, when suddenly two little girls appeared, pushing a bicycle with training wheels. They too followed us up the road until our van stopped in front of one of these rusty containers.”

“We slowly stepped out into the cold breeze, and I realized this was a neighbor of ours. I had never been here before. The wall of used tires in front served as a crude barrier from the road. Then several little kids scurried out and emerged from behind the row of tires. A family was living inside. They were invisible without Armine, the local pastor’s wife, knowing where to bring us. I had no idea this kind of poverty was so nearby,” David said.

Armine then shared a little about this family’s plight. “I started visiting Cristina and her children a little over a year ago, ”Armine shared. “We help them with no expectations, just to help in the name of Jesus. Please remember to pray for them to sense the love of God through these visits,” she said.

God Is Using The Farm

The Bible College team provided $50 care packages to four needy families that day. We were able to demonstrate the love of God and also build a partnership with the college team, MP, and the local church. Faith without works is dead, and we are excited to meet people’s needs and show the love of Christ.

The students milked cows, met for bible study, visited families, and served in the local church. We kept them busy, and everyone had a great time. The next weekend, we hosted a team from another mission  group. Their vision is to train missionaries to reach Muslim nations with the gospel. What a blessing to host and take part in their ministry.

Vision Becoming Reality

Our dream of turning the farm into a resource for sharing the gospel is coming true. We are simultaneously a working farm, a conference center, a training center, and a retreat center. We hear comments from visitors like this, “I can just feel the presence of God here.”

So thank you for supporting our work in Ukraine, Kosovo, and Armenia. Please pray that the presence of God remains strong among us!
